Cabo in July
Well we decided to take a family vacation this year. We splurged and booked a trip on Costco travel to Mexico. Well everything that could have went wrong did. Starting the trip with me forgetting my passport. To make a long story short, Derek and ky went on while Nash and I stayed back. Our dog sitter brought the passport from Wyoming and we bought two new tickets and arrived late that night. In the meantime Kylee and d sat on a Mexican island on the plane due to weather. After we all got there, we had fun. Kylee jo got a terrible ear infection with all the swimming. Luckily you can buy antibiotics and self medicate in Mexico from the grocery store. On the bumpy ride home... Nash, ky and I got sick. Nash threw up as we landed. So he walked through customs with nothing but a diaper on him and a "yummy smell". Haha then we got on the wrong bus to the parking lot. So the kids got a nice long free bus ride. Other than that, and the fact that we found out Cabo has dangerous beaches that it's not safe for you to go in bc of the undertoes. (The whole reason for the trip...who would have thought it, Mexico and no beach) . But the kids loved the pools, in fact we resort hopped and tried different pools. I also met a friend! Her name is Berenice. I got a message and she was the one that gave me the massage. She ended up showing us around and we did find a local beach that was fun. All in all, it was an experience. We were grateful to have gone, but will probably not go back!

Pretty awesome life I have....
These little people make our lives complete. As we were making banana bread today and I had their help with cracking eggs and putting in way too much flour, I thought.... Holy crap I have it made. They are everything to me. I have this crazy anxiety that I won't be able to experience everything in this world with them. If that is the case I want them to know how special they are. I want them to know that I have a testimony of eternal families. And that if they live the gospel, life may not always be easy. In fact it will usually not be easy. But in my experience, living the gospel and having a testimony of Jesus Christ, has lead me to feeling pure joy and happiness in my life. And whenever in doubt, fear, heartache, and love, go to him in prayer. He is there and He listens and He cares.
Anyways, that sounds crazy probably to most people. Or maybe it's a mom thing. But I love them so much. And I will do whatever I can in my power to be there, teach them, and above all love them unconditionally.
