Nomeo and Juliet

I took Ky and her friend Emery to the movies the other day. Before we left she had to change into a dress and tights for the occasion. She's such a girl. They loved it, when we walked in they were holding hands and so excited. They lasted about an hour and then wanted to come home and play. It was a fun day!

Good times with Uncle Marc...

She wanted to go out and play in the snow on Sunday. So Marc and Molly did the honors of freezing for a little while.
He did a belly flop, it was pretty funny.

Taught her to jump off her truck into the snow.
Throwing snowballs at me inside.
And today, he took her driving in his "beater".
She loved it-and was a pretty good driver, for a 3 year old. This is one thing I love about living in the middle of nowhere, it takes all but 2 minutes to drive out of town and it's just some good ol' fun!

Picture overload: Texas Trip

We got to help my grandparents out for a week. It was a lot of fun to see kylee so willing to take care of them. She insisted she helped give him a clean shave. My grandpa was loving it.

Helping grams make her famous cookies.
Doing grandmas hair.
Playing with cousins.

She loves her Aunt Jodi.
Derek was able to help pop out with some fence posts.
We made a lot of fun memories, I'm so happy we were able to go!

Feeding the horses

This was the highlight of Texas for Kylee Jo, She loves these horses. Aunt Jodi went and bought a dozen loafs a bread for the week and she fed them a couple times a day.

Catching up with some ol' Texas gals

Aunt Deana and I. A couple of us sat around the fire for hours one night.
Margarett and Kate
We went and fed some crazy ducks. She caught one!

She was a little timid, there was a ton of them sworming us.
Ky loved Kate, she kept on saying "shes so nice".
We also went to lunch with my friend Katy.
We saw Charlotte as well but no pics. Can't wait to see wedding pics lady!

Chinese New Years!

Derek ate some pork and I'm not sure what else was in most of the food. But I saw some kind of cooked foot and it was over for me. I ate some lettace and noodles, thats about it. They wanted us to sit indian style and everything, it was awesome!
Kylee danced to some Chinese music (check out the people on tv).
Our last night in Texas, we got to celebrate a holiday we have never celebrated before. We got invited to attend a Chinese New Years party!! When we first walked into the house there was a feast! Lets just say I didn't load my plate up at all. It was very interesting food. Derek said, here you go this is like being on a mission, you don't want to affend them, so just eat it. We sat on the floor and did everything they did. It was really fun to see how the Chinese culture does things. It was quite an experience and I am glad we were able to be apart of it. Kylee had a blast with the little chinese boy!
