Last weekend!

We celebrated Christmas with Adam and Allison last weekend. It was fun to all be together before we moved. The boys got nerf guns and we didnt shoot kylee...just stuck one on her head and it was pretty humerous. She just sat there and tryed getting it off. She is very into the wii. Anytime you turn it on she is glued to the tv. She wants to be held by any person holding the wii remote. Shes pretty cute.

Christmas

Kylee had fun opening presents and we had fun watching her. She got this little horse from her great grandma and loves to ride it around the house. It makes noise and she likes me to push her around on it. She is almost walking! She will talk about 4 steps at a time. So im sure it wont be long until she is everywhere! She got lots of fun toys and we had a really good christmas with our families.

Christmas Eve

This time of year is especially busy for us because we have our anniversary and Dereks birthday all within the days after christmas. But it makes it so much fun. Here are some pictures of Christmas Eve. We were able to go to Dereks parents house and talk to his brother thats on a mission in Africa. Then we opened a few gifts there. We then came back to my parents house and decorated Christmas cookies. it is a tradition in our family to decorate cookies on Christmas eve. We had a few of our friends over and had a lot of fun. Its been so great to have family so close and to have met such good friends here in Rock Springs. As we are getting ready to move i just wanted to say thanks for the fun times! We cant wait to visit!

2 Years!!

DECEMBER 27, 2006

Warning: this post is probably going to be a little mushy. But thats ok, it can be once a year. I just wanted to let everyone know of my love for Derek. He is so perfect for me. There is not a day that goes by that he doesnt suprise me or make me laugh. Life has just gotten more fun since Kylee came to our family. The 3 of us can just sit on the bed on saturday mornings and laugh. Derek is such a great father and works so hard to provide for us. There is a song by Brad Paisley that we love called "little Moments" and that is what we try to do each day. So Derek thanks for filling my life with so much joy and happiness! We love you!!

Sick Kylee

So yesturday during church Kylee started throwing up ALOT! We took her home and she threw up all day yesturday. It was sooo sad. It must have been like a 12 hour bug because she is better today. But here is a pic of her just sitting with me. Thats all she wanted...was me to cuddle her. The poor kid threw up soo much. We took a couple baths and did a lot of laundry but we are glad shes feeling better.

Our night away...

Derek and I decided to leave ky here in wyoming while we went down to utah for a friends wedding. So we were excited to spend some time together. We left thursday (which was sooo hard to leave her) and drove down to salt lake. We went to dinner with the guy that was getting married and at the end of dinner i got pretty sick. So all our plans to walk on temple square were over and i went to bed. sad i know! Then friday we went to the wedding and it was really nice and we had a good day.

This is ky watching us while we hung up the Christmas lights. She stayed inside and watched because it was so cold and windy. Over the past few weeks we have noticed her funny personality come out even more. She is getting into everything and very very busy. But we wouldnt have it any other way...she is just so fun!

Happy Thanksgiving...

This is Kylee on Thanksgiving. If you look close you can see her first tooth! Shes getting so big. We had a great thanksgiving with Dereks Family. I love the holidays. I thought of all the fun memories and thanksgivings in Texas growing up. I love you all and missed you guys.
Last night she fell asleep like this while Derek sang to her. It was so sweet. She looks really grown up in this pic.

Twilight!!!

So last Thursday night Some friends and I went to the midnight showing of Twilight. It was great. We had so much fun. We decided to go at 10 and stand in line so we could get some good seats. It was pretty interesting...My mom and i went up to get some popcorn (she has the hook ups) lol and while we were standing in line a little yelling match started between a mom and some guy that tried to cut in line. Pretty funny stuff. We had a great time and it was worth staying up for! I cant wait to see it again. Thanks for the fun night girls!

Enjoying the weather...

My Aunt and Uncle are visiting from NY so we decided to hike the Butte on top of the mountain by our house. (Kylee was asleep so her and I didnt hike) But the weather was soo nice! And im afraid that was the last of the nice weather because its suppose to snow today.
We also went shooting out by little fire hole! It was a lot of fun and the guns didnt bother ky at all. She had little ear plugs in and kept them in the whole time!

Halloween!!

Kylee jo was a little dinosaur for Halloween. We got this little costume for her because she growls at people. Well she kind of stoped doing it but it was so cute. Her little friend Carter was a lion and they were crawling around in their little costumes together. It was pretty cute.
