Santa came for a visit

A few days before Christmas, Santa knocked on our door to make sure he knew where Kylee lived. He brought her some goodies and a little kitty. She was so excited and asked him all kinds of questions like, where his sleigh was and how he got on to the roof. It was pretty cute.
She got all dressed up for him.

She was very interested in him. She wondered why he didnt need a ladder and why she couldnt see the reindeer. It was hilarious, Derek said if she sat down with Santa for 10 minutes she would probably know the truth.

Dougie and Ayzlynn's wedding!!

We traveled to Denver for Doug and Ayz's sealing at the temple. Then we drove to laramie for a ring ceremony and reception. It was such a fun weekend and we are soooo happy to have Ayz in the fam!

Gingerbread house!

D and Ky made a gingerbread house the other day while I was at school. She had to have a PINK house. I think it turned out awesome!

Ky is getting so big, I cant believe it. She has been so fun this year about Christmas. She now loves Santa. Each time we go to the mall she usually just waives to him, but the other night we were there and she shook his hand and said "nice to meet you santa". She wanted a red dress to match his red coat (she got one from D's mom and wears it all the time).

She is into getting herself dressed and "matching". Sometimes it doesn't but hey thats alright. We went to church yesterday and she brought her rolling backpack (with a microphone in it) and a big purse with her baby in it. D and I were laughing so hard when she was walking in with all her stuff. The microphone didn't come out but she sure loves to sing on the top of her lungs. She definently has a mind of her own.

Caught in the fudge!

So I was downstairs putting laundry away and we had just made fudge. Well it wasn't done all the way so I told her we would eat some in a while. Well guess she couldnt wait because when I came upstairs she had her stool with a spoon digging in the fudge. She makes me laugh.

On actual Halloween, we were in utah. Ky was Snow White and Emi was an adorable monkey. They were so cute together. Kylee is very into princesses right now. She wants each dress up dress to go with each princess movie. Its cute but expensive. We will see what santa will bring.

Ky was a flower girl/bride (she went back and forth). She gets to be the flower girl in her uncle Dougs wedding and she is soo excited about it. My mom and I dug through some of my old stuff and found this dress from when I was a kid. She LOVES it!
