So my dad was pretty sick this summer. I feel so grateful that we were able to be close, bc if we ended up going with amazon we would have been so far away. They finally diagnosed him with Lyme disease. He is finally starting to feel better. My parents wanted to finish their front yard this summer. He had ordered all this stone and it was a group effort to get it all spread out. Nash got to see the big dump truck dump the stone and got to shovel lots of rocks, which he loves to do.

A little update
We'll kylee jo started first grade and she loves it. Apart from having to wake up early. That's been an adjustment for all of us. We pack her lunch everyday, apparently she has good lunch items to trade. Haha she trades her gummy worms and fruit by the foots for like watermelon and other things. That makes me laugh so hard. So each day when she gets into the car I ask her what she traded. Derek thinks it's pretty funny because when we were kids fruit by the foots were gone before lunch time and she thinks they are no big deal. Also, when we were in Montana Kylee got a dollar bill from grandpa. She decided to spend it on a pickle. We'll she took one bite into the pickle and her tooth went loose. She was sooo excited. Derek said she probably made a return on her investment with the tooth fairy coming her way.
So Derek starts his last year of graduate school this week. We can't believe how fast our summer went. We are excited to see the progress we will make with the new kolache business this year. Who knows where we will be come May!
Side note:
Nash said sister last night!!! We were so excited!
He also can say...
Papa
Grama
Mom
Dad
Ball
Momo (motorcycle)
Momo (lawn mower) he loves to watch the lawn mower. We told him it's like getting a haircut, so he taps his head and says momo.
Tractor (he is obsessed with tractors. He watches tractors on the ipad any chance he gets. He gets to see construction by our house so he just watches the tractors move dirt!

Nash almost 18 mo
This little boy is so fun. He absolutely adores his sister. He's still not sleeping through the night but I'm sure it's partly my problem. Love to snuggle him. He loves trucks, tractors, motorcycles, airplanes, and balls. He is in fact really great at catch and kicking the ball. He's not a very good eater but he has gained some weight...with pediasure. He does love skittles. He knows where our candy drawer is...walks over and yells until someone comes over. He also loves animals. We just love him so much and can't believe how big he is getting.

My sweet girl in 1st grade
I cannot believe my baby girl started 1st grade. I am going to miss her terribly, being gone all day is brutal. The night before she started Derek gave her a really neat blessing. In it one of the things that stood out to me was her kindness would shine through. And that she would be a great example to her peers. This girl sure makes me proud. She prayed before bed that night and asked that kids wouldn't be mean in school. We sure love her. She absolutely loved the first day. She lived lunch and recess of course. Nash and I dropped her off and came home. I shed a few tears and while doing so Nash proceeded to throw away contents in my purse. He thinks it's really fun to throw hints away. Then he dumped a bag of chips on my fresh mopped floor. Haha I love him. He will definitely keep me entertained and busy while sis is gone. He wore her old back pack around the house. Hints are going well. D and I are continually receiving amazing blessings in our lives. The Lord sure knows us individually and what we need at the exact moment. We are starting this new kolache business and it's going well. Exciting to see where the next few years will take us. D starts school in a week or so.
